This boutique guest house is situated 12 km off the N71 road and 20 km from Cork Airport. The spectacular Old Head Golf Links is 25 minutes’ drive. Upon opening the portal to find a huge surprise. A beautiful entrance so full of character, charm and artistry. And then to be led by James the proprietor, the epitome of chivalry and warmth to a bedroom although small was just gorgeous.

The award-winning Killaran House is located within a few minutes’ walk from Killarney city centre, bus and train stations. Free high-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout and free public parking is available on site. Other services include a 24-hour complimentary cafe, a hospitality hamper filled with luxurious toiletries, and concierge service. Everything about Killaran house was exceptional from beginning to end, from checking in to checking out. Breda the host was truly amazing. She was professional, friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable when it came to seek on advice on places to eat. The location of the Killaran House was so central, within a few minutes of walking distance of central town and plenty of parking on the property. The family room was spacious, bright, airy and a pure delight, better than any hotel room. Tea and coffee making facilities available 24/7, as well as toiletries if you should forget anything. Definitely my family and I will be staying again with Breda on our next trip to Ireland. 7 stars 🌟 without hesitation. Cashel’s Main Street is only a 3-minute walk from the property and is host to a selection of shops and the award-winning Heritage Centre. Hore Abbey is also less than 14 minutes’ walk away. I really enjoy the room and I highly enjoy the craic and soundness of the owner.

The food was just amazing and the setting was magical the staff was very nice and welcoming so we really enjoyed our stay

We are located at V93 XY01 on a country road with no footpath or lighting. Use of a car or taxi is advisable. The location. The hosts. The small b&b feeling. The breakfast. The relaxed and casual atmosphere. The spacious room. The comfy public areas to relax, to ream, to surf. There is a car charger on site. Conor had some very good suggestions for touring and eating. We confirmed them.

Rooms are individually decorated with a lovely country house style. The rooms all have en suite showers, satellite TVs and tea/coffee making facilities. Irons, hairdryers and telephones are also provided and free Wi-Fi is available throughout. The room was great, the bed and linens excellent, breakfast was delicious, the staff are lovely and I really enjoyed my stay!
