The famous monastery of Glendalough is just 15 minutes’ drive away. Daphne was a wonderful host. She has a lot of tips and advices. Her breakfast is magnificent and the B&B feels like home. You can enjoy a glass of wine in front of the fire place. And the beds are great, we slept very well. The B&B is close to a lot of opportunities to make the most beautiful hikes and experience Ireland on it's best!

The traditional Gold Mines Bar has live music every night during summer months, including traditional Irish nights. The award-winning Redmond Restaurant serves both modern and traditional Irish cuisine alongside an extensive range of wines. Very well appointed, amazing staff, ample parking space, in a beautiful location and very peaceful. The place is historic. The bistro serves amazing food and a very good selection of beer and drinks. The Smoke House restaurant also serves very good food and it is by the river Avoca. Breakfast is excellent. Will definitely return to this great hotel.

Built in 1883 and located on an oak-lined avenue, Tinakilly House is a 4-star Victorian mansion set in 7 acres of landscaped gardens with stunning views overlooking the Irish sea. Tinakilly Hotel offers traditional bedrooms with satellite TV, bathrobes and tea/coffee. We absolutely loved our stay at Tinakilly Country House. After over 35hrs travelling it was a welcome sight, the lady at check-in was so lovely, the room was spacious and the bed was so comfortable I think we slept for 11 hours The shower was great and breakfast was delicious. They even catered for me being Coeliac In all we highly recommend staying at Tinkakilly if you are in Ireland

Free WiFi is available throughout. Beautiful premesis. Very Cosy and quaint. Extensive grounds with lots to do. Rooms were massive - great traditional style decor. Excellent facilities - pool and sauna were great. Fluffy towels and bathrobe provided - sadly, the bathrobes were one size and didn't really fit us. Delicious breakfast - great staff.
