The roads narrowed and became twister before we reached Arthurstown to be met with a stunning vista of the Waterford Harbour Estuary and views over Duncannon Fort and further afield to the Hook Lighthouse. This is located at the southern most tip of south east Ireland - a beautiful and windswept spot. Arthurstown is timeless and Marsh Mere Lodge the perfect accommodation. The property is immaculately clean and well mainatined and furnished with many interesting antiques and artifacts. The hosts have run Mere Marsh Lodge for many years and are long time residents of Arthurstown. They are exteremely welcoming making all guests feel immediately at ease and provide an excellent breakfeast.

Individually designed, every room at Killiane Castle enjoys views over the garden and nearby fields with grazing cattle. Every room features an electric blanket, complimentary magazines, and bottled spring water. We absolutely loved our stay at Killiane Castle. The atmosphere is both peaceful and magical – waking up in a historic castle is something we’ll never forget. The breakfast was exceptional, with delicious homemade touches that made every morning special. One of the highlights for our family was the tennis court right beside the castle – our son had so much fun playing there while we enjoyed the beautiful surroundings. The combination of history, comfort, and genuine hospitality makes Killiane Castle a truly special place. Highly recommended!

In an 18th century building, the family run Faythe Guesthouse is built on the grounds of a former castle. Offering rooms with en suite bathrooms, the Faythe provides delicious breakfasts.

Well equipped rooms all feature satellite TVs, hair dryers, telephones and tea/coffee making facilities. Free Wi-Fi is available and some rooms have beautiful harbour views. The guesthouse has a lovely, charming feel with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Damian and Siobhan were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making the stay feel very personal. The location is excellent — peaceful and quiet, yet close to Wexford town centre, and the bus stop is right outside the guesthouse, which made getting around very convenient. Breakfast was excellent, freshly prepared, and had good variety. It was the most favourite part of my stay. The room was clean, cosy, and well-maintained, providing a comfortable stay overall

Situated just 4 km from the town centre of Wexford, The Farmers Kitchen Hotel boasts a restaurant and a bar, along with free Wi-Fi and free private parking. Rosslare Europort is 20 minutes’ drive away. The staff were so helpful & considerate. The hotel was easy to get to. The food was excellent.

St Martin's, Rosslare Harbour Guest Accommodation has garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Rosslare, 1.2 km from Rosslare Europort railway station. It is situated 19 km from Wexford Opera House and offers private check-in and check-out. The guest house features family rooms. Lovely spacious room, close proximity to restaurants and ferry. Our lovely host was there to settle us in and also very kindly drove us to the morning ferry. Any concerns we had about being on time were quickly dismissed.

The light and airy Reeds Restaurant has riverside views and serves Irish and international cuisine. The award-winning Dry Docks Bar has an extensive bar food menu, an outdoor decking area and live entertainment at the weekends. It was beautiful! Rooms and beds great! The property is amazing.
