The rooms were spacious, the beds very comfortable and the bathroom roomy and spotless. the common spaces and restaurants were very elegant yet warm and welcoming. The landscaping and layout of the property were beautiful.

The accommodation provides full-day security and a housekeeping service for guests. this property is situated in the most beautiful of areas with a view of the tidal water. The home is a treasure of antiquity and is beautifully kept by Clare and her brother. Clare was most welcoming! The area is more remote, not near a city, but there is a local pub, but we didn't attend. The breakfast was served beautifully and was delicious.

Every room features an electric blanket, complimentary magazines, and bottled spring water. Stopped off on our way to cork, and we loved everything about our stay . From the moment we walked into the house and were greeted by our host , we knew we were somewhere special. From the comfy sitting room and the snug under the stairs to the bedroom, everything was perfect. Beautiful grounds and probably the best breakfast I've ever had. Well equipped rooms all feature satellite TVs, hair dryers, telephones and tea/coffee making facilities. Free Wi-Fi is available and some rooms have beautiful harbour views. We loved the ambiance and the people - the owners and the other guests. Also - the breakfast is AMAZING!!!

The light and airy Reeds Restaurant has riverside views and serves Irish and international cuisine. The award-winning Dry Docks Bar has an extensive bar food menu, an outdoor decking area and live entertainment at the weekends. The staff was very nice. Wellness center was great and even better than in photos. River view from our room was just stunning. A special thank you for an upgrade and sweet treats in our room! It made our special occasion trip even better.
