They are amazing and so welcoming. The hotel is immaculate and so comfortable. It really is a beautiful hotel to stay at, hence why we return year after year.

Rooms also include tea/coffee-making facilities, ironing equipment, large bathrooms and some rooms have Atlantic Ocean views. Stunning position overlooking the best beach. This hotel allows you to see the light changing over the bay which feels like every 5 mins. Wonderful staff. We had executive rooms which were huge - ample storage space, peaceful view, everything 'worked' in the room, comfy beds, good shower. This place is simple, perhaps a bit dated for some but it has a special charm. 5 mins from the victorian seaweed baths, which is a must. Other than that just walk on the beach and relax. The restaurant serves great chowder amongst other goodies. Special shout out to Sarah on reception and Olivia and Mary in the restaurant

The Mill Bar and Restaurant at Riverside Hotel serves full Irish breakfasts and there is an extensive lunch and dinner menu. Loved it. Clean and very comfortable! Great location in an amazing little city. Beds were very comfortable. Shower was powerful. Staff was excellent. Restaurant served us a great meal. Would definitely recommend this one!

We would definitely visit again.

I need to mention something about the amazing staff: we forgot my friend’s bag at the reception when we were already a couple of hours away from the hotel. A staff member, Aimee, kindly organized a courier and had it delivered to the other place we were staying within 30 minutes. We are incredibly grateful to her and we absolutely recommend this hotel!
