Overlooking Mount Knocknarea, the Strandhill Lodge and Suites Boutique Hotel are 10 minutes’ walk from sandy beaches and just 1-mile from Sligo Airport. Rooms have i-Pod docks and sea or countryside views. The manager, David McCoy, was the absolutely BEST part of my stay. David was always available to answer questions, or provide help or advice.

The spacious rooms at the Waterfront feature TVs, work desks and seating areas. Rooms also include tea/coffee-making facilities, ironing equipment, large bathrooms and some rooms have Atlantic Ocean views. View was amazing - Room 203! So lovely to look out over beach long into the evening. Food at dinner was varied choice, delicious and good value. Brilliant breakfast. Lovely atmosphere in hotel and restaurant...something to do with lighting and cosy feel.

Bed was comfortable. Nice sized entry room. View out to the river was lovely. The breakfast was typical hotel breakfast, was nice. No complaints, would be back again
