The Waterfront Rest B&B is a beach-front property located on the peaceful Wild Atlantic Way in the heart of Connemara. Rooms overlook the beautiful water and free WiFi is available in public areas. The property is recommended by Le Guide du Routard. This was our first experience in a bed and breakfast and we thoroughly appreciated it. The host was friendly, warm, and possessed an excellent sense of humor. The breakfast was generous and accompanied by a variety of options made available to us. The premises were clean, full of charm, and offered a beautiful view of the water. I recommend this establishment without hesitation.

Leenane Hotel is family-run hotel, where fresh seafood from the harbour and vegetables from the hotel garden are used every day. The staff in this hotel are super kind and nice. Especially a super strong male receptionist even helped us carry our two super large suitcases up the stairs to the 1st floor with both hands at a time! Thank him so much!

Abbeyglen Castle Hotel was built in 1832 and offers a new beauty and relaxation centre, and many indoor and outdoor facilities. The personal touch with the owners presence & involvement, their interest in where we were from was awesome; also learning about the history of the area added to the experience. Food was fantastic.

Buttermilk Lodge offers self-catering apartments 5 minutes' walk from Clifden town centre, you can just park your car and easily walk to town.

There are 3 apartments with private external entrance - 2 x one-bedroom on the ground floor and 1 x two-bedroom self-catering apartment on the first floor, upstairs and 3 further apartments located in the main building, entered by the main entrance - 2 x one bedroom and one x 2 bedroom, these are located on the first floor -upstairs. Everything was perfect! The location, the interior, the beds were so darn comfy :) a walk-in shower, shower gel and shampoo were provided, the kitchen with all its appliances were new and in absolute perfect conditions! Walk into town was like 10 minutes. Overall it was just perfect!
