We chose the blue Parrot as our base to start our day trip to Komodo from here. We experienced a very warm welcome by our host. He has been very supportive and gave great advice for restaurants and organized taxi etc. The joint breakfast room offers a stunning view and the entire place was very clean, all stuff was extremely friendly. Breakfast is simple. Location is slightly uphill but in walking distance to all major points of interest in that small city of Labuan Bajo.

Many great Restaurants, stores and dive shops. Breakfast was also great!

If you don't mind stairs you are rewarded with a spectacular view over the bay and soaring eagles above you. If you are a nature lover like me you get a bungalow with a lot of birds and other wildlife around. Every bungalow is unique and you can see the love for decoration and detail by the owner. Speaking of, the owner is a very kind greek lady, she is ready to help you with everything you ask for and btw serves the best souvlaki east of Bali. The luxury you get here ist no fancy cocktail or private pool, but a kind of hippiestyle place in nature. I cound not recommend ist more!
