Excellent location and easy to walk to the tram or bus. The room was on the smaller side but it's ok. The selection for breakfast was great and all the staff were really friendly, especially Maté who works at reception. We had a very early flight and they gave us a breakfast pack to go, that's was very nice detail.

All staff was amazing, handled our requests with ease. Hotel is spacious as well as room. Pool is 34 Celsius degrees, which was nice for our kid, could be bigger in size though. NY caffee is unique experience, superb looking and muscians are amazing. Food is ok, more variaty in breakfast would be nice.

The room looked splendid and exactly like on the advertised pictures. We were first in doubt of booking the hotel because online you can find pictures of a lot more dated rooms (which are very different from the advertised ones). The new advertised ones you get though, so all good. It was also very quiet, clean, and spacious inside of the room. All-in-all one of the few places I would definitely recommend and go back to. Owh and by the way, parking is free of charge on the street on Saturday and Sunday, which is nice if you do not want to use the parking of the hotel (during the week you can only park up to 3h if you are not a resident).

Wonderful location. Far from the city crowds but still convenient to the city center via M1 line. Very close to metro station. Also close to Hösök tere (heroes square) and Varosliget park famous for its pools and baths. I especially liked the air conditioning, which worked perfectly well on a very very hot Budapest weekend. It is a centralized air conditioning but you can set the room temperature. It is very well positioned so the cold air does not blow towards you which is the main problem generally with most air conditioning. It is an old and classy building with a charm and history. Turkish poet Nazım Hikmet and many others lived in this hotel and there is a little corner outside the hotel dedicated to their memories. The room size is good, beds are comfy, the balcony is a bonus. I also advise that you walk around the little streets back to the hotel (not just the Andassy ut) because those streets towards bajza utca street are so beautiful and quiet, full of old and classy buildings. These streets were certainly the same 100 years ago so it gives a nice feeling in the busy 2000s.
