The welcome was very warm and friendly. The owner gave us a tour of the house upon arrival: the spacious room with its private bathroom, the separate balcony where we could enjoy breakfast in the morning sun, and the shared kitchen which was very well equipped (including an Italian coffee maker and a large fridge). The room was large and pleasantly furnished, and the bathroom very comfortable. The shared kitchen was spotless. The balcony for breakfast was fabulous — sunny in the morning and sheltered from the wind. There is a large parking area right at the foot of the house. The accommodation is very calm, despite the proximity of the road.

B&B Villa Sumrak Plitvica is located within Plitvice Lakes National Park, only 200 metres from the the Plitvica River. It offers apartments with an LCD satellite TV and a patio or a balcony.

A garden with barbecue facilities is at guests’ disposal. Guests can relax by playing table tennis or darts and there are some guitars which can be freely used. With all the lakes within walking distance the surrounding nature offers many opportunities for hiking. Excellent location and fantastic hosts. DInner and breakfast options were also excellent, and overall we had a very pleasant stay.

The rooms at Degenija Hotel feature a modern interior with dark wooden furniture and parquet floors. All rooms have a work desk, a minibar, and an en suite bathroom with a tub. The perfect stop when you’re going to the waterfalls. The rooms were very nice and the breakfast area was humble, but good enough. I would definitely come back here if I’m visiting the waterfalls again.

It is located in a very quiet area near the Plitvice national park. We only stayed there for a night. We wish we could stay there longer!
