We stayed at Hotel Ellique for three days. I think the review should be two-fold: the property and Maria, who hosted us. The property is furnished in a very tasteful, authentic style, is very clean, and has every need in mind. It's a wonderful place in the heart of the old town. Maria, on the other hand, is always smiling and has that wonderful laugh. She goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable. We felt like we were at our sister's house. Thanks again to Maria. By the way, we'll miss that wonderful breakfast, too.

They were very helpful and friendly! We even received a small gift from them while we were leaving. Everything was perfect about our stay. They welcomed us with welcoming drinks and fruits, helped us to find good places to eat, helped us while renting a car, also they arranged a buggy to reach the hotel. It can’t be more! The location is the best!! It is in the old town but not in the crowded part, so you can reach everywhere by walk and at the same time you can sleep well during the night. It is not far away from Elli beach, it would take around 15 mins walks, in nice streets. I totally recommend this place to everyone, and would like to stay again for sure!

I can without a doubt say this was amongst the best hotels I have stayed. The level of service far exceeds even the best 5* hotels I have stayed in. From the first moment we arrived to the last, we were treated with such care and attention. Everything was immaculate, the rooms were so clean, the breakfast was delicious and varied and the staff were kind and caring. Location is perfect, 3 minutes walk to the beach and 5 to the medeival city. Me and my wife unfortunately got sick during our trip and the hotel and staff did everything to accommodate us, even bringing up food and offering to buy us medication all to ensure we were as comfortable as possible. Then on the day to checkout we had a late fight and we're still not feeling the best and asked if a later check out was possible. Not only did they make it work but they insisted that it was free of charge as we were unwell. This level of care was really what we needed when we were so sick in a foreign country and made the situation that much easier. Overall I cannot praise them enough, there is allot of other big hotel chains with beachfront pools that are all copy paste of each other, Koukos felt like it has soul and character that none of the others possess and it shines through in the staff. A big thank you personally to the head of house, a lady who took care of us personally and saw that all our needs were met.

Featuring a restaurant, Bellevue On The Beach Suites are on the beach of Rhodes City. They offer elegant accommodation with walk-in shower. Facilities include 2 pools and a snack bar. I absolutely loved my time at the Bellevue at the Beach Suites (even though I was sick the whole time)! The apartment was beautiful, spacious, and comfortable. The view of the Aegean was lovely---I really enjoyed sitting on the balcony. Even though there is a street below, it was very quiet and I could hear the waves. The staff is amazing, so friendly and helpful (special thanks to Dimitris & Theodoros). The breakfast is amazing, so many different options to order. I had it delivered to my room since I was traveling alone. I also ordered room service, a huge, delicious hamburger that was so large I ate it over two nights. I was there off-season (November) and the restaurant closed at 15:00 so I ordered my food early and warmed it up at dinnertime. The kitchen facilities and Nespresso machine were great to have. It's a short walk to the Old Town---personally, I prefer the modern facilities of the Bellevue Suites and the sunny rooms with a lovely view of the sea to the rather darker medieval design of Old Town but that's a matter of taste. Also, taxis can drive up to the Bellevue whereas you need help getting luggage to hotels in the Old Town since the streets are pedestrian only. I was so grateful that I had such a nice place to stay, so bright and cheerful, because I ended up spending a lot of time in the apartment because I was sick. I have great memories of my time there and plan to return soon when I won't be too sick to go out.
