THE BEST position in Thessaloniki, closest hotel to the Tower, right on the well known promenade, facing the sea and harbour. We stayed here 3 years in a row and could not have chosen better. 2 out of 3 times we had our baby with us and the in-room service was EXCEPTIONAL. The food arrives in max 20 min, always hot fresh and delicious. The staff is amazing, they help you with everything you need. The rooms are SO COMFY and fell designed, simple luxury, nothing very bold, spacious with attention to detail for confort. Last year we forgot some personal stuff in the room, they took photos, sent them and kept the goods for us until this year when we went again :)

The Golden Star Hotel is a modern property situated on the beach of Peraia. It offers rooms with free WiFi and private balconies. The centre of Thessaloniki City is a 30-minute drive away.

The air-conditioned guestrooms of Golden Star have modern décor with light wooden furniture and bright fabrics. Each has a safe box and a satellite TV. A hairdryer is included. We were very pleased with the receptionist who let us check in earlier, we got a free room upgrade and they were absolutely professional and courteous. The place is wonderful. The only dislike goes to the breakfast staff that follows you around and you get to feel uncomfortable while choosing what to eat. The variety offered was excellent. I suggest the staff should stay at some distance in need of assistance to react, but let us enjoy some freedom :-)

The hotel is exactly as described, the staff is great and breakfast also nice- best omelette i ever had!! For sure we will return!
