Originally a wealthy sea captain’s mansion built in 1810, the Hotel Miranda is a fine example of characteristic local architecture. A beautiful hotel, in a quiet location just a minutes walk from the Port. Big rooms with high ceilings. The staff were wonderful.

Just 200 metres from the scenic Hydra Port, the 5-star Hotel Leto Hydra offers elegant rooms, furnished as a traditional Hydriot mansion. Great location, close to the port and a little off the most crowded places. Very comfortable beds and spacious balcony. Tasty breakfast and extremely helpful staff! Hotel has very good location, it has old fashioned but very lovely homey athmosphere, the hosts are very friendly and helpful. I would love to go there back someday. it has very lovely terace with excellent viwe to the island.

Boasting magnificent views overlooking Hydra, the recently renovated Hotel Hydra is a turn-of-the-century building set in the heart of the island of Hydra. The views, room amenities, staff helpfulness are all pluses to the Hotel Hydra. When I chose the hotel, I knew it was up a long path with many stairs. However, the views at the hotel and the surrounding sights made the walk worth it. The signage is good so it is difficult to get lost. The area around the hotel has an historic mansion and the family home of a famous artist. Both were excellent and interesting visits.
