With respect to the local architecture, the stone-built Nereids Guesthouse enjoys views of the Saronic Gulf and Hydra Town from its furnished terraces. It consists of elegantly decorated rooms with free Wi-Fi. I love the beautiful stone walls and lovely decor. The owner, Kostas is very sweet and helpful. The room was cleaned daily and had a lovely shared veranda. It's close to everything in town. It's also very quiet except for the occasional donkey or rooster 😂

Cotommatae Hydra 1810 is housed in a 19th century mansion, only 200 metres from Hydra Port and the seafront with several restaurants and bars. Surrounded by a garden with a stone-paved courtyard, it offers traditional accommodation with free Wi-Fi. Very nice cosy boutique hôtel, well situated in Hydra. An exceptionnal welcome, by Yannis, who recommended us the best adress for drink, lunch, dinner and beach. We have spent a wonderful time there

Originally a wealthy sea captain’s mansion built in 1810, the Hotel Miranda is a fine example of characteristic local architecture. It is located 250 metres from the port and 500 metres from Ydra’s main beach. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The breakfast is delicious and homey, really enjoyed it!

The traditionally built Hydroussa Hotel Hydra is located on Votsi Square, surrounded by lovely lemon trees. Due to its unique architecture, Hydroussa Hotel has been used in the past as a location for Hollywood films. The staff was really nice and super friendly. The room and the hotel in general was very clean. The breakfast had a wide variety of food and of very good quality. The hotel is well placed- not far from the port and no stairs to reach it Overall, I would fully recommend Hydroussa!

Just 200 metres from the scenic Hydra Port, the 5-star Hotel Leto Hydra offers elegant rooms, furnished as a traditional Hydriot mansion. A buffet breakfast enriched with local products is served daily. Free WiFi is provided. Such a quaint hotel. Great location - close to port but still out of the busy area and noise. Very clean and well managed. The daily delivery of water was very nice. The breakfast buffet was wonderful - so much to choose from! The service was exceptional and staff was very friendly - especially Georgia, who was so helpful and made a birthday dinner very special at Castello.

The accommodation provides room service and free WiFi throughout the property. Easy access from the port. Close to restaurants, cafes and shopping. Staff is very helpful and friendly. The room was quiet and clean. This is a lovely historical property, but the shower is a bit small and maynot be comfortable for a larger person.

Boasting magnificent views overlooking Hydra, the recently renovated Hotel Hydra is a turn-of-the-century building set in the heart of the island of Hydra. The nearest swimming area is a 5-minute walk away. The views, room amenities, staff helpfulness are all pluses to the Hotel Hydra. When I chose the hotel, I knew it was up a long path with many stairs. However, the views at the hotel and the surrounding sights made the walk worth it. The signage is good so it is difficult to get lost. The area around the hotel has an historic mansion and the family home of a famous artist. Both were excellent and interesting visits.
