Set on York’s Clifton Road, Burton Stone Inn offers free WiFi access and 1 guaranteed parking space per room for all guests. Fantastic room and lovely bar area. This is a very welcoming pub. The staff, especially Debbie, Katie and Georgia were in particular, very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was large and comfortable. In the beautiful Yorkshire Dales National Park, The Lister Arms is a quintessential English pub and AA 4-star 18th-century inn, offering home-cooked food and cosy accommodation. We stayed in the converted barn part of the inn that is around the corner from the pub. It was really nice, high end, and recently renovated. There was a common room to hang out in too. We had great weather and were able to hang out in the garden but I think it would be really nice in the winter too since there is a fireplace. The pub had excellent food and the staff was great. We loved it and hope to go back.
