Food was excellent, dinner and breakfast and staff were friendly and made for an excellent overnight stay. Breakfast was wonderful. Top marks to the chef / owner who was great company and had time for a chat and beer at the end of the evening.

The vibe is super positive and relaxed: the perfect pause in a road trip, especially if you’ve been driving. What really made the experience even better was the host — incredibly kind, attentive, quick to help, and genuinely welcoming. And to top it all off, we got to meet the house puppy, who absolutely made our day and turned this stop into our favorite one on the journey
