All of the suites are stylishly furnished and each one has a living room area, a workspace and a flat-screen TV with cable and movie channels. Every suite has contemporary comforts and facilities. Jason at the front desk was very welcoming and helpful. It’s a 10£ cab fare from the train station. Beds were very comfortable, and the room was nice. The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils and pans for making a meal. Breakfast was excellent: scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, beans, waffles, dry cereal, juice, croissants, muffins and fresh fruit. Will return!

Located on a quiet street, The Metropolitan Guest House is less than 5 minutes’ walk from the lively town centre and metro rail station. New refurbished room. Very clean and welcoming and of the right size . Close to different pubs and restaurants, and close to the sea. WiFi worked very well. Breakfast was delicious .

The hotel is within a 10 minute walk of the historic Ryton with its ancient church and selection of cafes and restaurants. It is only one mile from Hadrian's Wall walk. Personnel were very helpful. My room was gorgeous.
