Rooms are fitted with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. - lovely host! couple looking after the property for friends, they were so friendly and helpful - great walk to Chatsworth (about 1-2 hours, depending on if you get lost like me lol) - discount at the tavern next door, went for dinner and was yummy - complimentary tea, coffee, homemade cookies and cake!

We booked expecting a simple stay and instead experience some of the most caring and well trained in our tour of London, Peak, Cotswold, and Cornwall. They were personable and knowledgeable. The food in the restaurant was very well prepared and they managed special requests without attitude or hesitation. We would recommend and stay again. The room was comfortable, clean and well presented. The reception was on point. It seemed to be popular with locals and we understand why.

The hotel is located in the stunning Derbyshire countryside, set in extensive landscaped gardens within the historic village of Cromford, in the UNESCO Derwent Valley World Heritage Site. Staff were brilliant. Lovely room. Great food. Really enjoyed our stay.
