The seafront Ellan Vannin Hotel overlooks Douglas Bay and Douglas Beach. The hotel is 1 minutes’ walk from the beach and within 5 minutes’ walk of the ferry terminal and bus station. The main shops, cafes and restaurants are 2 minutes’ walk away. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Ellan Vannin Hotel. Lovely little hotel with a great atmosphere and in a perfect location for walks along the bay or to enjoy the local bar and restaurant scene. Clean and modern, a true gem... Staff were - without exception - amazingly friendly, welcoming and accomodating. 100% would recommend to everyone!

On Queens Promenade in Douglas, Edelweiss Guest House is a long-established guest house with sea views. It is only a 5-minute walk from the Manx Electric Railway and Horse Tram Terminus.

All rooms include a private bathroom, TV with DVD player, free WiFi and some come with a sea view. There is a lift to all floors which is ideal for those who have difficulty with stairs. The hotel was charming and the staff were friendly and helpful. The elevator was a funny bonus. Loved our stay..wish it could have been longer...

With panoramic views across Douglas Bay and a carvery restaurant, it is just 5 minutes’ drive from the ferry terminal and a short seafront stroll from the town centre. The hotel's staff is so kind. The room was big and everything was perfectly clean.
