Lovely 4 star hotel with sea views just 15 minutes from Oban. Very friendly local staff who gave lots of advice about the local area and wildlife. The rooms are quite large and comfortable with Scottish interiors and renovations finished in 2024. There are 2 lounge areas with a wood fire for use also in the day time. Breakfast was served at the table on the breakfast room (extra cost). The restaurant food was very high quality and good value with the same menu for lunch or dinner. Well located for walks and visits with the possibility of seeing wildlife although you would be best with a car. Highly recommended I would love to go back in any season !

The grounds are on loch lomond periphery with outstanding views of the loch. There is a walkway the whole way to the beautiful village of Luss and the hotel The Lodge on The Lough. Oban's busy town centre is just 15 minutes' walk away. There are a lot of very thoughtful details that make it so special. Like the binoculars on the window ledge, or the decanter with sherry, and tunnocks tea cakes. The room is beautiful and huge, and the view is stunning. We loved sitting in the armchairs and looking out over the bay. We totally recommend staying here if you have the chance. It's a short walk round the bay, which is also very scenic.

With beautiful views across the water to the hills beyond, Struan House provides free WiFi. Breakfast was amazing . Everything was prepared to perfection . Mark was very friendly and we enjoyed our morning chats with him .
