Guestrooms are decorated with period furniture and paintings. Each room has a private bathroom with a bath or a shower, and all rooms have free WiFi access. Warm peaceful atmosphere. Could see the sea from our room. Good location to the beach, shops and restaurants. Good breakfast, nice little walled garden where you could have breakfast, weather permitting, which unfortunately was not an option while we were there. Staff very friendly from front of house to staff working behind the scenes, chambermaid etc.

Hotel Les Almadies - Coeur de Ville is in the centre of Saint-Jean-de-Luz, on a pedestrian street, in a typical Basque house. It is an ideal starting point for exploring this historic village. Within 300 meters of the hotel, you can find the “Grande Plage” beach, many award winning restaurants, Thalasso spas, a cinema, parking garages, and the train station. The owners of the hotel were great. The Breakfast was excellent, lots of choices, great coffee. Don’t miss the traditional Basque cake. Perfect location to explore. Garage Parking nearby. Comfortable bed. Honestly, couldn’t ask for more!!!! Perfect

This unique residence has a rich history based on its past residents. It was once the home of the Mayor of Biarritz. It was also the place Napoleon III used to receive medical care on his visits to the region. Staff was very friendly and helpful from the first to the last minute. Room and bathroom was very spacious, nice big terrace outside. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast buffet well stocked with quality options.
