Hôtel & Spa Le Bouclier D'or is located in the historic La Petite France district in a 16th Century building, a 5-minute walk from Strasbourg Cathedral. This perfect little haven in the Petite France area of Strasbourg was an ideal base to explore this beautiful historic city. This renovated old building has everything - character, history, vintage furniture and modern facilities. We visited Strasbourg during the Christmas Market and while it was only a few minutes walk to the major market squares and the local restaurants, the immediate vicinity was pretty quiet - almost no vehicle traffic and just a few pedestrians, who mostly seemed to be taking their kids to the school opposite. We only saw one staff member (I’m sure there must be others) but he was very welcoming and informative, giving us good tips on where to go. We loved our room, which was very nicely furnished, but also had plenty of power points, a device charger on the desk and the most fantastic shower.

Breakfast is one of the best we have ever had. Very friendly and attentive staff.

This hotel is one of the best hotels I’ve ever been in, in the center of Obernai , very special and had a great staff. By mistake I ordered extra room and they cancelled without payment. The hotel is a cozy beautiful with clean beautiful rooms. The big quadruple rooms were very special and great. Obernai is one of the most beautiful villages in the Alsace and full of action during night. And this hotel located exactly in the center of Obernai.
