El Pilar is housed in an early 20th-century building designed in Modernist style and it still has the original wooden lifts. Great location, right by the Pilar, easy parking and loading. Breakfast was excellent. I was in the Air Force in the 80s and we frequently came to Zaragoza for weapons training. We stayed out on the base nearby but would frequent the town when off. It has changed significantly in 40 years but was a blast to visit again. Highly recommended, its not even on the Rick Steve's list. Speaking of which, another hidden gem on the road from Madrid to Zaragoza is the Monasterio de Piedra, STOP there, its awesome!

Infanzón features a lounge with a fireplace where guests can relax. There is also a garden and a terrace. Lovely place in centre of the village. Very atmospheric. The owners were very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed and gave us a lovely breakfast. We enjoyed being able to sit up on the terrace with fantastic views and there is also a very comfortable lounge downstairs. Would definitely come back.

Great location, friendly staff, easy parking. Google maps is definitely misleading, one might need the help of the locals to find the place (we did). Also, great locals :)
