Las Américas Golf Course is 2 km away. Loved this hotel suite! The staff were amazing, welcoming, and extremely helpful with anything we asked about! In advance, we were given the city bus number and price to ride from the north airport down to South Tenerife! Saved hundreds of euros! The location was perfect in that across the street and down the steps was the beach, and restaurants and shops were an easy walk. Sunshine Cafe, located right beside Flamingo Suites, was great with wonderful staff and delicious coffee and food! The temperature of the pool was just right for our daily relaxation before our tapas and wine on our large deck overlooking the pool. Nightlife was rocking all around us, but our suite was silent.

The Hotel Rural Victoria - La Orotava is beautifully located between the sea and the mountains in Villa Monumental de La Orotava. A XVI century home, it welcomes visitors with fully restored facilities and at the same time maintains its original architecture. The place is beautiful, like a museum, typical house with a court in the middle where breakfast is served. There's a terrace with a beautiful view on the Teide and the seaside. Room was spacious, beds were comfy. Bathroom a bit small but functional. I read in other reviews that everything is automatic and too impersonal. I arrived before 8 pm and a kind woman was at the reception and told me that the reception closes at 8 pm. So after this time you don't see anybody. I parked in the street where the hotel is, but it may sometimes be difficult to find a parking nearby.

Restaurant tables outside nice atmosphere. Great food choices.and lovely waiting staff v attentive Sara, Elizabeth, Magby. Fridge in room and great english channels.
