Set next to Samil Beach, this family-run hotel has a garden with sun loungers, and offers air-conditioned rooms with flat-screen TVs and free Wi-Fi. A welcome sight as I rolled in off the camino! An older property with all the new amenities. Love the stone architecture and character. Theresa was very sweet. The breakfast in the garden dining room was simple and more than ample.

The fantastic customer service especially from Carlos - the best I've had in 45+ days in Spain! The breakfast was wonderful, they even had scrambled eggs and a little bit of everything, including my favorite, whole wheat croissants! You can even have a piece of the Galician favorite, Santiago cake. Also, the property was completely and tastefully renovated in 2012 according to the brochure. Easy 10 minute walk to the charming and historic old town along a scenic path overlooking the estuary.

I arrive late and very tired, and then had to leave early the next morning (both the two times I stayed very recently). The staff were considerate (when I was tired) and organised an early breakfast for me in the morning.
