The hotel sits in a square but it's super quiet at night. We were met by friendly staff at check-in. Our room was large with a lot of room for luggage. We had a separate sitting room which was nice. Everything was clean. Our bathroom was large. We had breakfast in the morning and we wished it had a bit more variety--but was good to get your day started. Close to all the city's attractions. We left our luggage with the front desk on our last day to finish checking out the city--which was nice!

The owner has sensitively restored the old stone building, retaining its ancient stonework and restoring exposed and time-blackened wooden beams. The guest rooms are simply but comfortably decorated, each with a small private bathroom with shower. Beautiful room--loved the stone walls--just inside the old city. Bed was very comfortable. Staff was attentive, warm, and helpful. All in all, a lovely stay.
