Excellent hotel! We stayed at three luxury hotels in Cairo during this stay and WA by far exceeded our expectations and was the most comfortable and pleasant stay. Attention to detail 👌Meals were exceptional. Air quality is much better than other hotels. Friendly, knowledgeable and professional staff.

Quick check in, everyone was helpful and happy despite our very late arrival. The room was large and immaculate. Good bed and sheets. Great view. Quiet. Great facilities!

This hotel is pretty new, the place is simply amazing, staff is great, i definitely will stay again. Yousef and Mai at the reception were very professional, warm and perfect.

Fairmont Nile City exceeded what I have expected. The staff, every one of them, made our three-nights stay so comfortable and memorable. The Dine-in service was fast, food was delicious, the Sky Pool was warm and cosy, room was up to date and super clean. A special shout out to reception staff Michael, he went beyond to help us out with a bigger and quieter room and even overworked one night to make sure we are happy with everything. Fairmont, you should be proud that you have such a considerate and efficient employee. Moustafa from Dine-in service was very helpful too. We will definitely come back!

The location was excellent. About 5-7 minutes drive from the Cairo International Airport. Easy & fast check-in & check-out. All staff were really amazing and welcoming. always had smiles on their faces. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are cozy. I had a program at Waldorf Astoria and staying at the Cairo Hilton Heliopolis was an excellent choice. The 2 hotels are located in the same building. I only walk through the lobby to get to Waldorf Astoria. The ambiance, serenity, calmness, sparkle cleanliness of the reception and above all the beautiful Egyptian décor captures the whole essence of my 7 days stay. The exotic restaurants on-site was a top notch for me. There were variety of cuisines to settle for if you are the adventurous type plus the cost was really good for a restaurant in a 5 star hotel. I had a great dining experience at the Raj (Indian) and Lan Tania. I was in Cairo when preparations were made to welcome the month of Ramadan and I fell in love with the antique Ramadan décor most especially the little parlor that was created with the the Egyptian carpet, throws, tea setting, incense, shisha and the Ramadan Stand. It was really eye catching as it stood out in the reception because of the vibrant colors and the crescent moon and stars that hung from the ceiling. it was a sight to be hold. The hotel was very close to the City centre & City Stars Malls, where you can shop until you drop dead. The CityStars was really it. about 500 shops of different varieties.

Great pool, room service and wonderful food. The hospitality and hotel décor was fabulous. Room dining service charges are quite pricey but overall experience was royal.

Service was beyond superb, food varied and delicious, swimming pool heated. Old style quality and class, feels like living in one of Agatha Christie's novels. Amazing escape from reality, will be back for sure!!

Sofitel El Gezirah is a 5-star luxury hotel with a private promenade along the Nile.
