What an amazing place, in a lovely quiet part of Holsted. Dogs are welcome, and we took advantage of the short nature wall by the park that follows a placid, pretty stream. The hotel has an eclectic decor, with themed rooms that are full of character and comfort. And they are incredibly spacious, many of them perfectly suited for families or large parties. We stayed in the Karen Blixen suite and it was incredibly comfortable and restful. The breakfast has no hot food options (beyond boiled eggs at request and a self-serve.waffle-maker), but it had a great selection of musli, jams, bread and cheese, deli cuts, pastries, and more.

Set in an old merchant’s house from the 1850s, Den Gamle Købmandsgaard Bed & Breakfast features individually designed guest rooms. Each is decorated with wooden floors, modern furnishings and contemporary art. All have a flat-screen TV, seating area and private bathroom. We had a charming stay in a historic setting in Den Gamle Købmandsgaard B&B in Ribe. Our cozy room (with the centuries-old wooden mill wheel in the ceiling), friendly owners Johnny (and his daughter, Katja) were so hospitable. The simple yet delicious breakfast made for a delightful experience. I would highly recommend staying with Johnny et al, for exploring Ribe's medieval streets and attractions.

All the individually designed rooms at Villa Procence have a flat-screen TV and luxury toiletries by Molton Brown. Some also include a seating area. Everything is perfect. Absolutly amazing place with extraordinary taste! The common room is a mixture between antic shop and movie location, with a cocktail bar for guests to use, a chess board in another corner and atmospheric french music in the background that fits the setting so perfectly. Didn't want to leave!

It offers both old-world charm and modern comforts such as in-room flat-screen TVs and free WiFi access in some rooms. The breakfast was not a huge spread, but everything you needed in a Dansk breakfast was more than enough.Super!!
