Our room was nice and big, very comfortable. 20min walk from dresden central train station. Nice breakfast. If you go for a wonder you will find other christmas markets. There is a nice bar/restaurant in the square called whilma and you can pop there for a coffee, brunch lunch or dinner or drinks. The hotel has a cafe as you enter the hotel and you can sit and have a mulled wine to end the day that's open till 9.30/10pm looking at the christmas market which was nice. They also stored our luggage on check out so we could have a little wonder before our train to berlin.
