The Hotel Föhrenhof is situated in a peaceful area on the edge of a forest in Farchant, just 3 km from the Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The sun terrace and garden offer a beautiful view of the Zugspitz and Wetterstein mountains. This is easily the best stay we had on our entire trip. The staff is extremely friendly, breakfast was excellent, the property is conveniently located close to hiking trails and the village has a very relaxed feel. We will be back for longer. Highly recommended!

The hotel offers fantastic options for everyone — the pool, gym, sauna, mini golf, and theater kept us entertained, and the three included meals each day were delicious, with fresh natural juices in the morning being a highlight. The location is also perfect, close to the top attractions in the city, making it easy to explore. Most of all, the incredible staff made our stay feel extra special. We’re already planning our next vacation to return here in the winter — can’t wait! Highly recommend for families looking for a fun and relaxing getaway.

The location is very close to the U station so is very easy to Move to Downtown and other places around the city. Allowing you to be diverse on knowing the other areas of Munich outside of downtown. The breakfast is amazing. And the staff is just very polite and nice

Large, really nice rooms, with balcony and a great mountain view. Breakfast was very good and plentiful. As for the host, Bavarian hospitality at its finest. We were a bit late due to traffic, but communication was excellent. We got the room, even received help on where to park, because the hotel was full. Bonus, after a very long drive, and being a bit late I could still savor a German beer from the bar. Much appreciated. Really kind, hard working people and a great hotel. 10/10
