It is a 30-minute drive to Munich conference grounds and city centre. Supurb Hotel! Location 2 train stops from airport and a short bus trip stops basically out the front of hotel. Easy to get to the City. The Resaturant meals are amazing. Staff all very friendly and fantastic. Definatley will stay again if we make it back to Munich.

Staff welcoming and helpful and hotel is located right in centre of old town of Munich so perfect for getting to most of sights. The room we had was spacious and comfortable and service was great.

Each of the 51 rooms was designed differently by architect Kurt Seidel. Highlights he set with designer furniture from Vitra, Le Corbusier, Hansen, Eames & Co. as well as lights from Occhio, Flos, Artemide and Ingo Maurer. The bathrooms are equipped with (water- and energy-saving) fittings from the manufacturers Laufen and Dornbracht, as well as care products from the L'Occitane brand. It's really a characterful place, in front of station. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully furnished. Modern yet not minimalist. The interior was so nice, notably the elegant staircase! The lounge in 1F was nice and cosy, with free use of coffee machine. Staffs were so helpful and gentle, with many occasions I felt a great hospitality. It's in busy area but was not very noisy. Breakfast was satisfactory with many bread/vegetable options. Shower / wifi etc. worked perfectly. I really had a good time here.

The Hotel Föhrenhof is situated in a peaceful area on the edge of a forest in Farchant, just 3 km from the Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The sun terrace and garden offer a beautiful view of the Zugspitz and Wetterstein mountains. The hotel itself is cozy, comfortable, clean and furnished in a unique, I would say traditional style. The host - owner of the property was very friendly, outgoing and welcoming. We loved everything about our stay there and we would recommend the hotel 10 out of 10 times.

The location is also perfect, close to the top attractions in the city, making it easy to explore. Most of all, the incredible staff made our stay feel extra special. We’re already planning our next vacation to return here in the winter — can’t wait! Highly recommend for families looking for a fun and relaxing getaway.
