This a family-owned establishment and they quite obviously understand hospitality. Coming from Switzerland, I can appreciate quality and here they paid attention to every small detail. It's strategically located for exploring the region, they have a fabulous restaurant with excellent food. And they venerate wine (which is also very good).

The non-smoking rooms of the Altkölnischer Hof Bacharach feature a country-style design and traditional wooden furniture. All include a satellite flat-screen TV and a private bathroom, and WiFi is also available in all areas free of charge. We stayed in one of the apartments managed by the hotel that is located in Koblenzer Str. 3, though the breakfast was offered in the main building of the hotel. The apartment was much bigger than we expected and looked nicer than on the pictures. It was very well furnished though the taste could be very subjective, but it was very comfortable, functional and very clean. It had all the amenities, full kitchen with drip coffee machine and everything you may need if decide to cook. The mini-market in front was also very convenient. In the corridor you can find fresh towels, toiler paper and tissues and everything else. The check-in instruction was very clear and easy. The parking for the car was just in front of the building and under our windows. The breakfast was rich and had everything including variety of vegan options that we greatly appreciate! The staff was available and courteous - helped us with all questions and advice what to do and what to visit. The beds were comfortable. Definitely will recommend and come back!

Bathrooms come with a hairdryer and towels. The suite was amazing. It was large with a fully equipped kitchen hidden is a stylish little cupboard. Large bedroom with a comfy bed, large bathroom with an excellent shower, and a separate living room/kitchen. Good location on the edge of old town.
