This historic hotel in Rothenburg ob der Tauber is just 100 metres away from the Sankt Jakob church. It offers rooms with wooden décor, free Wi-Fi, and typical Franconian food. This hotel was magical! I can’t say enough!!! The restaurant was delicious, service friendly and wonderful, super clean and so inviting. The decor made you feel like you were in a German fairy tale. We absolutely loved it, it’s like staying in someone’s home, not a hotel, and that’s honestly what made it even more special. You can drive up to the hotel to unload your car then park right outside the city wall. Parking area 5. Be sure to have at least one breakfast, it’s different every morning and was included with your stay!

Hotel is located just off the main road, with parking nearby to load/unload which I would recommend. It's a little far to walk over the cobblestones if you have heavy luggage. Parking bay is easy to get to from there. Staff were great, they offer a decent breakfast which is charged additionally. Would stay again.

This historic hotel was built in 1264 and is located at the Markusturm tower in medieval Rothenburg. It features a traditional restaurant and free Wi-Fi internet throughout the hotel. Right in the middle of the beautiful town! Apartment had everything in it. The staff were exceptional! They were kind and helpful. I will definitely come stay here next time.

We look forward to returning because there is no where better to stay. The personal touch of a family run hotel is priceless. We had excellent recommendations for activities and restraints. The breakfast was varied and enjoyable as well as authentically German. We already have friends booking at stay because it is in the perfect corner of the walled city -- near the cathedral, close to the main square, right at the beautiful garden gate, and in easy walking to excellent dinner options.

This charming hotel lies in Rothenburg’s Old Town, between the marketplace and Castle Gardens. It features a rose garden, free Wi-Fi, and grand interiors with Renaissance details. This is the 3rd visit to this property in 10 years. The entry is warm and welcoming as is the entire staff. Our room was large with a king bed and plenty of space for unpacking including in the bathroom. Breakfast was very nice. For a November visit it was perfectly heated. We loved it.
