Located in a former school building, the family-run Hotel Volkschule offers comfortable rooms in central Hamburg. Free WiFi internet access is available throughout the hotel. The breakfast was perfect. Plenty of food to try in a beautiful, airy room. The cervical pillow was the best pillow I’ve encountered in a hotel for a very long time. I’m now searching for it online.

This Nordic Swan ecolabeled hotel in central Hamburg features a 24-hour reception, free WiFi and a gym. It is located 200 metres from Gänsemarkt Underground Station. The room was very clean. There was a nice view on the Planten un Blomen park. The stuff is very friendly and professional. Very close to the U-Bahn (underground) that in less than 10 minutes brings you to the Hauptbahnhof (Train main station). The breakfast was not included and you have to purchase it, but it is worth it. Multiple choices of sweet and salty food. The hotel location is just perfect if you have to go to the Laeiszhalle Theater.
