The Hotel Föhrenhof is situated in a peaceful area on the edge of a forest in Farchant, just 3 km from the Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The sun terrace and garden offer a beautiful view of the Zugspitz and Wetterstein mountains. Lovely staff. We had a warm welcome in the early afternoon with a Schnitzel sandwich. Room was extremely spacious and had a lovely view on the mountains. Beds were comfortable, and everything was very clean. The breakfast was great as well: eggs, yoghurt, quark and many different kinds of bread, fruit, meat and vegetables.

The location is also perfect, close to the top attractions in the city, making it easy to explore. Most of all, the incredible staff made our stay feel extra special. We’re already planning our next vacation to return here in the winter — can’t wait! Highly recommend for families looking for a fun and relaxing getaway.

The infinity pool was such a major plus after a day hiking in the mountains. Stay here - you won’t regret it. We will be coming back.

They look after the guests and are willing to help. I was very impressed by the customer service. There are two supermarkets with a walking distance, and the bus stops right in front of the hotel.

Very good location (walking distance from the train station and downtown); Great room (big, clean, well equipped) - beautiful mountain view included; Nice staff (they took into consideration our request to have a quiet room and we received the lovely room 310).
