Breakfast is the absolute best- best breakfast I’ve had in all of Europe! Everything is homemade and you can tell, it’s excellent. I came back a year and a half later just for the breakfast!

If you stay in Baden-Baden, this is the hotel, it’s the only place I’ll ever stay because it offers so much.

Die Reichsstadt - Hotel Spa und Restaurant is a design hotel housed in a former brewery dating to the 16th century. The hotel’s classic-style rooms are decorated in raspberry and white tones. The staff were so friendly and helpful! The location, right in the heart of the old town, was great. The hotel was very nice. We stayed two nights and were really happy with our experience.

Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a children's playground. After a very warm welcome, we entered the apartments. They look even better than on the pictures, and have very nice ambiance, that perfectly matches the black forest. We had a 2 day stay only to visit the Rhine waterfalls in Schaffhaussen, Triberg and Feldberg (for some snow). The town nearby (900m) has a nice supermarket. Our host offered to bring fresh buns every morning, which is a good start of the day.
