Located in the town of Hallbergmoos, the family-run Hotel Neuwirt offers comfortable accommodation with free WiFi access throughout. It is a 30-minute drive to Munich conference grounds and city centre. We needed a place close to the airport, and were super delighted with Hotel neuwirt. Everything was clean , the breakfast buffet spread was great. We even had traditional German dinner at their restaurant and it was amazing.

The rooms are stunning, with a magical atmosphere and a breathtaking view of the castle. Honestly, the price feels almost too low for what the hotel offers. You can also book tickets for both castles directly through them, and they’ll hand them to you the next morning — super convenient. They offer the possibility to dine at their restaurant as well. We arrived too late for dinner, but they still prepared a tasting platter for two with sausages, cured meats, cheese, cherry tomatoes, and plenty of their delicious homemade bread. We couldn’t even finish it! Breakfast was absolutely outstanding — calling it “complete” would be an understatement. All in all, highly recommended. If I had to point out a flaw, it would be the flies — they’re everywhere. But hey, we still haven’t figured out how to control insect minds, so…

The restaurant was delicious, service friendly and wonderful, super clean and so inviting. The decor made you feel like you were in a German fairy tale. We absolutely loved it, it’s like staying in someone’s home, not a hotel, and that’s honestly what made it even more special. You can drive up to the hotel to unload your car then park right outside the city wall. Parking area 5. Be sure to have at least one breakfast, it’s different every morning and was included with your stay!
