Amazing view from the pool and a wonderful nature around the hotel. You are literally in the jungle. Several toucans are living around the hotel.
Very nice cocktails and food. You do not want to leave the hotel. You can stay there a whole day.
Try a hiking trail from the hotel.

Beautiful hotel with some jungle vibes! The rooms were huge, always spotless, I don’t understand how you can have a hotel so close to nature and still absolutely ZERO bugs inside (ofc you must keep your windows closed for this). The pool area was lovely, I could’ve spend hours there just watching the birds and monkeys. The area in general is not very walkable, but if you have a car or take the bus, the location is great. 5-10min drive to restaurants, beach, the national park. The roads are narrow and steep but the traffic is calm and considerate. The staff at Plaza Yara were also super helpful and kind, we absolutely loved staying here. 100% recommend!

We had a fabulous stay at Gaia for my partners birthday at the end of our stay in Costa Rica. The food was a particular highlight, we had the Mahi Mahi and the tuna steak, both delicious. breakfast was also perfect. special mention to staff Nelson in the restaurant and concierge Carlos. Also the owner Boris said hello at breakfast and was so kind and welcoming. we had a great time at the pool and ordered drinks and nachos and all staff so helpful bringing towels and asking if we needed anything. Overall a fantastic stay.

The hotel is beautiful, staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The pools were clean, they have access to a nice, calm beach (only 10 minutes walk through the forest). The restaurant is exceptional, they even have a wood fired oven for the pizza. The breakfast is fantastic (buffet style, the best we had during our stay in Costa Rica). We were lucky enough to see a sloth in the tree next to the pools, he just moved in, and stayed there for at least 3 days. We also saw scarlet macaws and toucans daily from the pool. Highly recommended.

The pools were amazing as well as the attention by the staff. They were kind and prompt in solving any request or problem. We loved the BBQ villa with the ranch I even though we couldn’t use it as it had to many mosquitos. The views were just amazing and the garden wonderful and well maintained.

I love the privacy of the room, the jacuzzi, the view, and every single detail in the room, it's obvious to me that great attention has been put to the architectural design of the hotel and particularly the junior suite in which we stayed.
The beach was a nice surprise, didn't have idea there was access to a private beach.

What a way to start our first trip to Costa Rica! The villa had everything you needed and was well designed and we loved the outdoor shower especially after a swim. The cabin looked out onto a ravine with a river, the pool was also beautiful and had an incredible view. The queen bed was very comfortable medium/firm and everything was very clean. Kind and friendly staff (Johnson) happy to offer tips on the local area and a sweet resident doggie. Lots of birds and wildlife.

The room (Honeymoon suite) was very spacious and the view was stunning, as we had the ocean view.
The staff at reception were very welcoming and friendly.
The porters/bell boys were great at giving you a ride, due to the steepness of where the hotel is situated.
The pools were nice and clean, but very warm.
The staff at the guest service house were super lovely.
The 2-4-1 cocktails during happy hour were great!

We loved everything. A boutique hotel on the side of the mountain in the forest. Getting up in the morning into the forest and the birds chirping. The rooms are amazingly designed, spacious and beautiful. Comfortable beds and a special shower. A fully equipped and useful kitchen and we loved the balcony with a swing bed hanging from the ceiling. The hotel has a great pool and a large jacuzzi. The staff helped with everything.
