This is a great option for Medellin. Location is great, walking distance to Oviedo and ohter shopping centeres. Room was great, quite comfy, and great view, good breakfast, and very very kind staff. If you are traveling by car, parking in inside the building and confortable to park. When checking in it was a misunderstanding (regarding my residence), and I was charged taxes as if I lived in Colombia what is not not the case. The hotel made all efforts to correct the situation, and the extra amont of money was returned very fast. it is really a great option for Medellin, and no doubts I will stay in the hotel next time in Medellin,

Very nice hotel, and the location is awesome. It's literally a minute walk from Provenza but quite enough to have a good night sleep. The staff are very nice and attentive as well.

El Despertar Hotel is surrounded by mountains and offers a wellness centre. Free WiFi access is also featured. The bright rooms are decorated with light colours and boast a colonial-style decoration. Beautiful hotel in town but on a quiet street. Clean and large bedroom and bathroom with great decorations. Super friendly staff. Breakfast is substantial.

Everything was great, the property is breathtaking, very artsy and is surrounded by a beautiful garden and the views of the terraced green hills, 20 minutes walk from Jardin, one of my favorite Pueblos in Colombia! You feel like you are in a fairy tale! Soley is one of the best hosts you can find in the entire world. Her breakfasts are amazing, she is lovely to talk to, has plenty of advice about what to do in Jardin and she really goes above and beyond to make her guests happy! I'm already planning on coming back!!!

Location is excellent! Nice neighborhood close to restaurants and nightlife. Check-in was very easy and fast. Front desk and restaurant staff very nice and helpful with all requests. Karolin at front desk was very professional and her customer service outstanding! Comfortable bed, spacious room, ample bathroom and shower. I travel between work and leisure at least 14 times per year. This hotel certainly exceeded my expectations and the staff made me feel like home. Kudos to everyone!
