It is only a 5-minute walk from Zermatt Train Station and Sunnegga Express funicular. Good location (at main road), near to zermatt train station, coop, restaurants. Room is clean/spacious (with balcony). Breakfast is good, plenty of choices.

Situated close to the ski lifts in Zermatt, Alpen Resort & Spa features a restaurant, and spacious rooms with cable TV. WiFi in the entire building and transport from Zermatt Train Station from 07:00 o'clock to 21:00 o'clock are both offered for free. There is also an outdoor tennis court on site . The indoor pools and the outdoor jacuzzi were the highlights of our stay. The view in the morning was also breathtaking (I recommend a room with a view to the Matterhorn).

Most rooms in the Hotel Bristol offer superb views of the Matterhorn. I really enjoyed my stay. Had Mountain view in my reservation but got upgraded to a double room, very spacious. And a large balcony where I took food back for dinner and just enjoyed the view. The hotel has a super spa: steam, ice, different saunas etc - which was included in the room. The staff was super nice and helpful also.

The Zermatt Matterhorn Express Cable Car is 250 metres away. Very spacious , clean , great amenities would definitely come back . And the staff were very helpful to help us newbies out .

The Sunnegga Funicular Railway is less than 700 metres away and hiking paths start nearby. The warm welcome and the eye for details from the management of the hotel. I don’t think they missed anything

The Sunnegga Express funicular and the Zermatt Train Station are 500 metres away. The views were amazing. Lots of ventilation due to so many windows and 3 balconies.

Liked everything , excellent hotel, we normally stay up the road but will definitely be coming back , everything was good quality , good choice of breakfast, very nice massage /sauna, and excellent staff! The shuttle bus to the slopes is an excellent bonus up the hill to The lift . I have been coming to Verbier for over 20 years and this will now become my 1st choice of hotels .
