It is only a 5-minute walk from Zermatt Train Station and Sunnegga Express funicular. Perfect location in centre of Zermatt's main street, 5 mins walk from the train terminal, amongst shops and restaurants. A view of the Matterhorn peak and the village from out shared balcony was an unexpected bonus. The room was very spacious - best we've ever had in a 3 star hotel - and heaps of storage. Breakfast was good and staff friendly and helpful. Loved it!

Built in the 1890s, this historic hotel was one of the first hotels in Lauterbrunnen. The family-run Hotel Staubbach offers panoramic views of the Staubbach Falls and Lauterbrunnen Valley. It is located 600 metres from the Lauterbrunnen station and offers free parking and free Wi-Fi. The room was very clean, and the staff were extremely helpful. They provided all the necessary information. We can’t wait to come back again!

The family-run Hotel Alpina right in the heart of the car-free resort of Mürren offers you a unique location and spectacular views over the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau mountains.

The Swiss-style rooms are pleasantly and comfortably furnished. Most rooms also offer spectacular views of the mountains and the Lauterbrunnen Valley. Located on the cliffside and nicer side of Mürren close to the mountain clouds. The room was perfect for a solo traveller and the view from the balcony is just heavenly (make sure to request for a room by the mountain side), check pics. Bfast was good and also had dinner here twice, their food is great and servers are attentive. Hotel is the first one on the cliffside after turning left from the train station, it isn’t a very long walk. I had an overall pleasant stay and will stay here again.

Most rooms in the Hotel Bristol offer superb views of the Matterhorn. Heaven on Earth!! Perfect location, in the heart of the town and 5min walk to the ski lift. Friendly staff, smooth check-in, clean rooms and amazing facilities. We especially loved the breakfast buffet where you can make your own waffels and pancakes while enjoying the view of the Matterhorn. Will definitely be back. Higly recommend Hotel Bristol!!

All rooms feature air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, radio and a desk. All rooms have a private bathroom. The garden terrace provides a splendid view of the famed Mount Virgin. Quant and cosy hotel since 1666?! I like the wooden building architecture and Swiss cottage feel. Breakfast was splendid.

Hotel ABC is a centrally located B&B hotel with a refined, personal atmosphere for the individual guest, less than 500 metres away from the railway station of Chur. Free WiFi is provided throughout the property. Our trip to Switzerland started on a bad note: we lost our baggage. From there, some representatives working for the SBB were not very friendly, actually not friendly at all. So, frustrated, we walked into the hotel. Elia greeted us and made us so welcome, that I forgot all our troubles. His smile and service totally surprised me. He did note that the country being reliant on tourism would benefit from a better customer service than we had received, rather than the one we got from SBB. The rooms were so clean and welcoming, I had the best night's sleep there. Breakfast exceeded our expectations. With so much variety to choose from when it came to breads (I did try them all), and the cheeses (also tried them all :)) and other things to sample, I was glad I came down for it. I thought I lucked out with only Elias being so nice, but the next day's person working at the reception (did not write his name) was also super nice and helpful. He held out luggage for us to walk around the town. Excellent service, excellent hotel and staff. Really enjoyed out stay.
