Family-run for 150 years, the Boutique Hotel Balm is located in a green suburb of Lucerne and features a gourmet restaurant with fish and other specialities and offers free WiFi in all rooms. The hotel also offers a seasonal outdoor swimming pool. I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was quite spacious and very comfortable, providing a relaxing environment to unwind after a long day. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful; they even recommended some local attractions around the area which enhanced my experience.

Close to the historic city center - it can be reached by bus (there's a nearby station) or easily by foot (around 10 - 15 minutes), but this place is also quiet and relaxing! The stuff is really friendly and we felt welcomed. Breakfast is delicious.

In the summer months guest enjoy free access to the heated outdoor pool of the neightbouring hotel Beau Rivage. I enjoyed a lot a view from my room’s balcony. Very comfortable bed, big room. Stuff was very helpful and absolutely friendly that gave us warm feeling. Definitely we want to come back.

The Lubo - self check-in is located in the center of the city of Lucerne in the historic old town and only a 10-minute walk from Lucerne main station and just 200 metres from the shores of Lake Lucerne, the Chapel Bridge, and the closest bus stop. Free WiFi is available. It was newly opened in December 2022 and is a fully automated boutique hotel with flexible room access with mobile key. The location was excellent. The accommodations were comfortable and the staff were able to resolve the few things we needed on short notice and without even having to call.

Château Gütsch is set in a 19th-century castle, overlooking the town of Lucerne and Lake Lucerne, with views to the Rigi Mountain. The interior was renovated and designed by Martyn Lawrence Bullard. Free WiFi access is available. One can hardly ask for more! Excellent hotel. We will return.

Located 1 km away from Lucerne, Gasthaus zur Waldegg features 1 restaurant offering traditional Swiss and international cuisine and a beer garden overlooking Mount Pilatus. WiFi and on-site private parking are available free of charge. This is such a hidden germ! The room we stayed in was fully renovated, with a nice balcony and a great view of the mountains. In general, we really appreciated the hospitality — the staff were very kind and welcoming and there were thoughtful touches like free coffee and water carafes in the communal area, as well as an “honesty bar.” After a long day of discovering beautiful Lucerne and its surroundings, you can try local beers in the garden under the shade of the trees (which seem to be frequented by locals as well.) The location is perfect as it’s very close to the city center (direct bus line, train stop 5 min walk away) but also gives easier access to Alpnachstad/mountains. We hope to be back!

Each of the modern rooms has a cable TV. Great location, easy self check in. Modern design of the room and very clean. The Parking garage is 2 min walking from the hotel and open 24 hr. costs 25 CHF.

The Seehof du Lac is situated in the centre of Weggis and only 25 km from Luzern, on one of the loveliest spots on Lake Lucerne.

Guests can enjoy a large lakeside lounge with direct lake access.
