Piccolo Hotel enjoys a quiet location, an 8-minute walk from the Locarno Train Station and the centre of the city. This boutique hotel is ideally located in a quiet area of Locarno. The breakfast buffet has an excellent variety of regional meats, eggs, fruits, and breads. It’s only a short walk to the train station. They also offered the Ticino Card, which made access to public transportation easy! The hotel is family run. Nikoli was very helpful with information about the area. Would definitely stay here again!

The Romantik Hotel Castello Seeschloss is located on the lake-side promenade of Ascona, 300 metres from the centre. It offers historic-style rooms and free internet access. Wonderful location on the waterfront. Walking img distance to restaurants and ferries

Completely renovated in 2013, Hotel Rio Muralto is located in front of the train station, 1-minute walk distance from all alle the public transport and the funicular to the Madonna del Sasso. The gentleman working the check in, breakfast and everything else (I apologize but I can't remember his name) was FABULOUS and so helpful and kind! Give that man a raise!!!

The Hotel Du Lac is located 200 metres from the train station, the funicular, the pier and the bus stop for all your excursions and is only a few steps away from Locarno's old town and the lake. Excellent location. Fair price for the room booked. Loved our balcony overlooking the lake and mountains. Comfortable bed and adequate bathroom facilities.

Set directly on Minusio’s lakeshore promenade, Giardino Lago is a stylish boutique hotel offering fine cuisine. Free Wi-Fi is available, and bicycles and deckchairs are provided free of charge. The location is stunning. Easy access to train. The restaurant was exceptional. Included breakfast was delightful. Staff were friendly and helpful. Very comfortable room with beautiful views
