We have a very nice stay. Very clean cosy room, very good breakfast, close to the city center and the train station Interlaken West. Very friendly staff.

Free WiFi access is provided in public areas. We stayed in the guard tower room, which is a bit different from most of the rooms in the hotel. It's right above the castle gate, with windows on 3 sides, but since the walls are 70cm thick and made of stone, it's very well insulated from noise. The conveniences/electrical system were slightly constrained by the fact that we were surrounded by thick stone, but they nonethless did a great job of making a beautiful, comfortable, and engagingly quirky room. Breakfast was also exceptional, with some of the best bread and pastry I've had in Switzerland.

Views extend to the Jungfrau, over the rooftops of Interlaken, or the nearby Harder. I really liked the property overall. From the room to the location, the food, and the staff — everything was top-notch. Truly a great experience!

Good value, very helpful and friendly staff who went above and beyond to make our stay excellent. Very clean and tidy bathrooms and room. Especially enjoyed the breakfast and the use of tea, coffee and microwave facilities.
