It is located 600 metres from the Lauterbrunnen station and offers free parking and free Wi-Fi. A view! It was stunning, the most spectacular view I’ve ever seen. Room was small, but clean. All rooms are accessible with a lift or spiral stair. All rooms are equiped with TV, free wifi and with a hairdryer. The staff was incredibly friendly and responsive to all our requests. Their hospitality made us feel truly welcome. The restaurant service was excellent, and the food was absolutely delicious. The pizza, in particular, was outstanding! The room had everything we needed, with very comfortable beds and pillows. Once again, the staff was simply amazing, and the service was top-notch. I highly recommend this place and would love to come back!

The city of Bern is just over an hour away by car. The attention to detail was remarkable—everything was just right. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the bathroom spotless, and the overall experience was refined without being over the top. We absolutely loved our stay!

The Grandhotel Giessbach is a historic house from 1874 and enjoys a secluded position on a hill above Lake Brienz amid a 22-hectare park. It offers views over Lake Brienz and the Giessbach Waterfall,an outdoor pool, 2 restaurants, one of which features a summer terrace. Free WiFi is available in all areas. We had a wonderful stay at the Grandhotel. The staff were all very nice and helpful, in particular Sebastian at reception. We stayed in one of the rooms at the front of the hotel with a small balcony and a spectacular view of Lake Brienz and the waterfall. The room was really clean, spacious, and comfortable. The food was delicious and well presented. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful, with a lovely walk down to the lake, the funicular train, and several hikes around the waterfall. The outdoor pool area is also lovely, both for a swim and to sit down for a while. A wonderful, tranquil slice of heaven. Can't wait to return!
