It has a wonderful location, with friendly staff, they make you feel special from the first entrance. you say I'm glad I came. The hotel, which is already good so far, offers a free roaming pass, a discounted pass to many places and a map of the city without you having to ask. All this is marvellous.

I loved that the manager Nikolas went above and beyond to help us with a severe travel challenge we had from our previous tour. His kindness, care and attention were well above and beyond. Exceptional. He then took time helping us find a fondue restaurant.

Staff was veru kindful and helpful, also polite. Room was very clean and tidy. We get card for the public transport and discount for all the museums in the city given by the hotel. Public tranposrt station is very close to the hotel ( 2 min). Everything was greatful. Recommend Essential by Dorint Basel City Hotel with two hands!
