The hotel had chocolates and a welcome note waiting for us in the room when we arrived, which was a lovely touch. We were staying over Christmas and they also left treats for us that day when the room was serviced, which made Christmas even more special. The hotel is in a good location to easily access the lower old town, and is also a short walk up to the higher old town. We had a wonderful time in Quebec City and really enjoyed our stay at Hotel 71.

I chose Manoir Sherbrooke for its location, as I was able to walk everywhere that I wanted to go, so it was such a pleasant surprise just what a wonderful gem of a place this was! The perfect mix of historic and modern.

The location is right smack in the Village and within walking distance to the metro. Highly recommended.
