Casa de Vinicius de Moraes is a part of the hotel that features swimming pools, a playground and a beautiful garden. A breakfast buffet is served daily. Beautiful hotel close to the beach. Nice history linked to Vinicius de Moraes. Staff were very friendly. We got upgraded to room number 01 close to reception. The room was spacious and lovely. Beds were comfy, and loved the amenities. Breakfast was delicious and with many options.. tapioca was the highlight... Restaurant a bit pricey but delicious.

Best money spent here! “Funny” restaurant on the beach and “I am orro” in the town are excellent food options. Very safe. Enjoy the beach!!

The location is perfect – just a short walk to both the beach and the Quadrado, where you'll find great restaurants and bars. It truly feels like you're in the heart of everything, yet still tucked away in a peaceful setting. The staff here are fantastic – so friendly and helpful! They went above and beyond to assist with airport transfers and organizing day trips around Trancoso. The owner is also incredibly welcoming and makes sure you feel right at home. The breakfast is amazing, and the afternoon tea is such a nice touch. The bedroom was clean, comfortable, and cozy, ensuring a great night’s sleep. The gardens are beautiful, and the swimming pool is a perfect spot to relax after a day of exploring. I can’t recommend Le Refuge Pousada enough! It’s a hidden gem in Trancoso, and I’ll definitely be back.

The staff was very kind and gentle, the room was very clean and the whole building smelled very good. The location of the hotel is perfect, right in front of the beach and close to everything. The breakfast was complete and delicious. The view from the terrace is amazing! Wonderful to see the sunrise and moonrise from there!
