I felt like a guest in someone home, perhaps an old aunts house. Room was warm and large, bed was comfy, bathrooms excellent, shower hot. Everything is clean. Nandy was a super friendly and helpful. The area is a decent walk from downtown but there are great places to eat and hangout. The air is fresher. It’s so quiet at night.

The rooms in Hotel Onkel Inn Torres de Copacabana have private bathrooms and lake views. We were greeted with the friendliest staff. They quickly upgraded us to the third story of the beautiful waterfront property so our views perfect water views. One night we needed to stay in and with our limited Spanish then host was happy to order us food to our hotel for dinner. The bed was huge and very comfortable The next morning we woke up to a beautiful generous breakfast spread all for us also with waterfront views. The hotel was a short walk out of town along the water but worth it for the peaceful views José was amazing And the alpacas were a fun addition

Would highly recommend.
