Parking available. The room is very well appointed, the bed is comfy, and the air conditioning works! We did not include breakfast in our stay so I can’t comment on that. Everything is very clean and neat! There is a narrow staircase to negotiate, but we had no trouble. Franky is a wonderful host, who was available to help with restaurant suggestions and sightseeing options. Ieper is a beautiful city that is well worth a visit!

We booked late in the afternoon on the way from one place to another. It was so comfortable! It was immaculately clean and there is a nice restaurant attached as well as a cute gift shop. The items in the gift shop were unexpected and very reasonably priced. I bought a few Christmas gifts here. I would highly recommend this hotel I also want to mention the front desk clerk was as nice and friendly as she could be. Would definitely stay again if we are in the area.

A 5-minute walk from Ypres’ market square, La Porte Cochere offers elegant country-styled rooms situated in a historic mansion. Free Wi-Fi is available. The hosts were excellent. Very helpful for planning my days and recommending things to see and do. The room was large, very comfortable, quiet and spotlessly clean. The bnb is only five minutes walk from historical downtown, restaurants and museums but I never felt unsafe even walking after dark.
